This manual contains a solution for each of the 66 problems for the ETS’s practice test GR0568, which is a retired GRE mathematics subject test. These solutions can help future test takers to discover different (and quicker) approaches to solving problems, to find mistakes they did on their GRE0568 practice test, to recall how to do certain kinds of problems, and also to discover how to do unfamiliar problems. This manual was written for students who are familiar with the mathematical material yet need help with individual problems. The solutions were written to be clear and concise. Because of the latter, very little prose is used in the solutions. Instead, the sequence of equations tells the story of its particular solution. To use this manual a person must first get a copy of ETS’s GR0568, which is available at http://www.ets.org/gre. Note: this test is intended for people who want to pursue a graduate degree in mathematics. That is, it is NOT the general GRE test that most graduate students have to take.
